• Pages are researched and written by the SnoutsWise editorial team with the help of AI tools, then checked against primary and authoritative sources such as the Merck Veterinary Manual, the American Animal Hospital Association, the American Veterinary Society of Animal Behavior, the American Veterinary Medical Association, the ASPCA, the RSPCA, the American Kennel Club, The Royal Kennel Club, university veterinary schools and peer reviewed studies.
